GAZA, Jan. 10 (YPA) – The Islamic resistance movement “Hamas” has confirmed that the American positions on the lawsuit in the International Court of Justice against the occupation are a disregard for international law and an American attempt to obstruct it.
Hamas stated that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s positions regarding the lawsuit filed by South Africa in the International Court of Justice against the occupying Zionist entity are “a disdain for international law.”
The movement said that the American positions are an attempt to obstruct the tools of international justice from carrying out their role within the framework of their full support for the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against civilians.
It also expressed its rejection of the fallacies and misleading narrative that Blinken still insists on repeating after 96 days of barbaric Zionist aggression against Palestinian civilians, which continues with the full support of President Joe Biden’s administration.
Hamas said in a statement: “Blinken’s attempts to justify the genocide committed by the Zionist enemy’s terrorist army against Palestinian civilians by saying that the Palestinian resistance is stationed among civilians are miserable attempts to wash the hands of the criminal occupation of the blood of children, women, and the elderly in Gaza, whose number exceeded 30,000 martyrs.”
The statement stressed that this reflects the extent of American involvement in these crimes and the widespread violations of all international laws committed by the fascist Zionist army in the Gaza Strip.
Blinken has repeated his allegations in a press conference in Tel Aviv at the conclusion of his sixth tour in the region since the start of Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Although he acknowledged the high number of Palestinian civilian victims and that they were paying a heavy price for the war, he continued to justify the crimes of the Zionist occupation.
