Saudi Arabia wants to normalize relations with “Israel” after Gaza War: Saudi Prince

LONDON, Jan. 10 (YPA) – The Saudi ambassador to Britain, Prince Khalid bin Bandar, affirmed on Wednesday that “Saudi Arabia wants to normalize its relations with Israel after the war in Gaza.”

The Saudi ambassador said in press statements that the two parties were close to reaching an agreement before the war that launched on October 7.

He affirmed that any normalization agreement with “Israel” must lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state.

“Saudi Arabia still believes in establishing relations with Israel despite the unfortunate numbers of deaths in Gaza,” the ambassador continued. “But this cannot be at the expense of the Palestinian people, and it requires thinking about the issue of integrating Hamas into the future Palestinian state.”

On Tuesday, Israeli media reported “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu” held secret talks with the White House regarding resuming normalization talks with Saudi Arabia.

Last Monday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed that Riyadh is interested in the issue of normalization with Israel, but that will require ending the conflict in Gaza and determining a possible path to establishing a Palestinian state.
