Military cooperation with the American forces is coming to confront the threats of the Yemeni Navy affiliated with the Sanaa forces to prevent any Israeli ships from crossing the Arabian Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait towards the Palestine’s port of Umm al-Rashrash, known Eilat, in the northern Red Sea.
The sources stated that the leadership of the American Fifth Fleet appointed the head of the so-called Chief of Staff in the Ministry of Defense of the coalition-backed Aden government, “Sagheer bin Aziz,” who is present in Egypt as a liaison officer and directly responsible for the two joint operations rooms, indicating that a number of surveillance devices have been created and installed on some of the islands of Yemeni spreading along the two western coasts of Yemen.
The sources pointed out that the leader, Tariq Afash, the nephew of the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, was appointed as responsible for following up and activating the operations room in Mokha, which is close to the Bab al-Mandab Strait, stressing that America directly supervises the tasks of the two rooms, which have been assigned the tasks of monitoring and tracking maritime movements, in addition to the launch of missiles and drones affiliated with Sanaa forces.
They continued by saying, “Bin Uzair began his movements after his return from America, while Tariq Afash visited Jordan, the Emirates, and Djibouti, and during those visits he met with military leaders, American officials, and Mossad officers as part of arranging to activate the operations rooms formed by Washington.
The sources noted that there are arrangements underway to deploy members of the factions loyal to the UAE and Saudi Arabia from the Dera al-Watan Forces Shield on large areas from the coast of the Red Sea to the southern entrance to the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden to secure the Israeli ships.
A report issued by the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) confirmed that the Zionist entity, in cooperation with the UAE, had established Israeli-made sensors on Yemeni Socotra’s Abdul Kuri Island to monitor missiles and drones for the past two weeks, following the installation of maritime surveillance systems linked to small spy submarines on the same island and directing them towards Bab al-Mandab and the Horn of Africa during 2021.
This comes after the naval forces of Sanaa prevented the passage of commercial ships belonging to the Zionist entity and detained one of them, in addition to targeting during the past two days two others ships in Bab al-Mandab in response to the genocidal massacres that Zionist forces’ committing against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
