Iranian FM: Palestinian resistance is a liberation and legitimate movement

WORLD, Nov. 16 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian affirmed that the Palestinian resistance is a liberation and legitimate movement and not a terrorist group.

This came in a speech delivered by Minister Amir Abdollahian, on Wednesday, to a number of United Nations officials, humanitarian organizations, religious institutions, university professors and some foreign ambassadors residing in Geneva, which dealt with the current developments in Palestine and the aggression of the Zionist entity on Gaza.

In part of his speech, the Foreign Minister stated that the occupying entity insists on non-compliance with and flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and committing war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity, but that this should not make us laggards, but should make us more firm in our commitment to “ensure compliance” with the rules of the Geneva Conventions and prevent a large-scale genocide.
