“Walterminal” oil field employees warn of imminent disaster in Aden

SHABWA, Nov. 07 (YPA) – Workers and employees of the oil field “Walterminal” in Block 4 in Shabwa province announced the reduction of crude fuel tankers from the oil field to four tankers, starting today, Tuesday, in protest against the non-payment of their financial dues for the fourth month in a row.

The statement issued by the company’s workers and employees on Monday gave the company’s management until tomorrow evening, Wednesday, to pay their dues unless a comprehensive strike begins next Thursday.

The workers and employees hold the company’s management and relevant parties fully responsible for the fuel outage at the PetroMasila station in Aden.

The statement stated that the company’s workers and employees did not receive their salaries for the fourth month amid repeated promises, the last of which was the end of the first week of this October.
