Israeli occupation reveals reason behind presence of US nuclear submarine in Middle East

OCCUPIED QUDS, Nov. 07 (YPA) – The spokesman for the Israeli occupation army, Richard Hecht, has revealed that in Tel Aviv, they consider the deployment of the American nuclear submarine in the Middle East to be a deterrent in the region.

The “Jerusalem Post” newspaper quoted the army spokesman as saying, “It is always nice to see the Americans transfer more assets. We see this (the deployment of a submarine) as a kind of deterrence and stabilization aspect in the region.”

Zionist newspapers commented on the step taken by Washington on Monday morning, in which the latter announced the location of one of its nuclear submarines in the Middle East, describing this announcement as “mysterious.”

The newspaper “The Times of Israel” considered the statement of the US Central Command regarding the arrival of the “Ohio” nuclear submarine in the Middle East “good news.”

The newspaper added that the United States’ recognition of the location of the “Ohio” submarine is an “extremely rare” event because this submarine represents part of the so-called American “nuclear triad” of atomic weapons.

The US Central Command announced that Ohio had arrived in the US Central Command area of responsibility in the Middle East.
