Haniyeh: Netanyahu is ready to burn region in order to save himself

GAZA, Nov. 01 (YPA) – The head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, confirmed on Wednesday that “Netanyahu is ready to burn the region in order to save himself.”

Haniyeh said in a speech in light of the genocidal war crimes launched by the enemy against the people of Gaza: “Our people, despite the aggression, are still fighting the war with dignity, and we stand in reverence and greatness in front of the legendary steadfastness of our people despite the massive destruction, massacres and aggression.”

In his speech, Haniyeh accused the Zionist enemy entity’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, of causing this war.

Haniyeh stressed that the Hamas leadership has repeatedly informed international parties that Netanyahu’s continued storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the practices of his government would not go unnoticed.

He warned that “Netanyahu is ready to burn everything green and earth to protect himself,” indicating that “Netanyahu is trying to save himself, even at the expense of an entire nation.”

Haniyeh explained that Netanyahu is deceiving his fans with false promises that the resistance would not allow him to fulfill, pointing out that the Zionist occupation’s attempts to cover up its failure by committing massacres would not save it from its resounding defeat in the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation.

He called on the supporters of the occupying entity, led by the United States, to stop obstructing the international will to demand an end to the aggression.

Haniyeh confirmed that “the region or outside it will not enjoy security and stability as long as the Palestinian people do not enjoy their legitimate rights to freedom, stability, and the right of return.”

He revealed that the Hamas movement informed the mediators of the need to put an end to the war of annihilation waged by Netanyahu by stopping the aggression, establishing an exchange deal, and opening the political track.

He saluted the solidarity and supportive peoples of Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq for their advanced and declared positions, calling on the people to continue to exert pressure on decision-makers, especially in the West.

Haniyeh also called for the necessity of permanently continuing the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt in both directions.
