SHABWA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – Armed clashes took place on Monday in the oil province of Shabwa, which is controlled by the UAE factions, left a number of dead and injured.
Informed sources said that confrontations broke out between tribal gunmen from Al-Lahqad and Al-Qais in the Ain area northwest of the city of Ataq, the center of the province, leaving one dead and others injured, indicating that the clashes are due to a tribal vendetta between the two tribes without any intervention to stop the confrontations between the militants by factions affiliated with the UAE in the “Defense of Shabwa and Amaliqa” located in the area.
The sources pointed to the high number of victims of fierce confrontations between the two tribes amid the complete absence of the role of the local authorities affiliated with the coalition, accusing the leadership of the Emirati factions of fueling tribal conflicts between members of tribes loyal to the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
