Hamas declares open to requests from Red Cross to deliver food to captives

GAZA, Aug. 03 (YPA) – Abu Obeida, spokesman for Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s armed wing Movement announced on Sunday that the Brigades “are prepared to respond positively to any request from the Red Cross to deliver food and medicine to Israeli prisoners.

In a statement, Abu Obeida stipulated that, in order to accept the request aid captives, humanitarian corridors must be opened in a normal and permanent manner for the passage of food and medicine to all Palestinian citizens in all areas of the Gaza Strip, in addition to all forms of the enemy air raids must be halted during the time of receiving parcels for prisoners.

He added “the Qassam Brigades is not intentionally starving prisoners it has, but gives them the same amount of food the our fighters eat, and they will not receive any special privileges in light of the crime of starvation and siege”.
