SHABWA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – The UAE forces kidnapped the director of the Yemeni oil company branch in the coalition-controlled province of Shabwa, eastern Yemen, and took him to an unknown destination, informed sources reported.
The sources confirmed that the Emirati commander supervising the “Shabwa Defense” factions at Murra camp located west of the city of Ataq, named “Abu Mohammed”, directed his forces to arrest the director of the Yemeni oil company Ahmed Shami, who belongs to Islah party, on charges of supporting terrorist elements.
They explained that the arrest of the director of the oil company came after his participation in the solidarity stand with Palestine and the people of the Gaza Strip last Friday, saying” Damn all the Arab countries that participated in the attack on Gaza from the Arab countries that cooperate greatly with the occupying entity, especially some Gulf countries,” according to the sources.
The sources also pointed out that Shami’s statements annoyed the leadership of the UAE forces present in Shabwa to arrest him without revealing his fate until the moment.
