US occupation forces bomb sites in eastern Syria

WORLD, Oct. 29 (YPA) – US forces at the al-Omar oil field launched three missiles toward the outskirts of al-Mayadeen desert in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, a field source told Sputnik,

“The rockets landed in the area between al-Mayadeen and Mahkan,” the source said, without providing details about the targeted sites.

The source added that “warplanes of the US occupation forces were seen flying in the skies of the Omar field area, following the attack on the base last night with three missiles.”

A field source had earlier reported that the US base had been targeted with three missiles.

US illegal bases in eastern Syria, especially al-Tanf, the oil fields of Coneco, and al-Omar, have been subjected to repeated attacks, which have increased in frequency with the start of the Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip.
