Over 100 civilians killed, many others injured in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza Strip at dawn today

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Oct. 29 (YPA) –  Dozens of Palestinians were killed and hundreds were wounded at dawn on Sunday by the Israeli occupation shelling of the Gaza Strip, the official Palestinian Wafa news agency reported.

According to the agency, Israeli warplanes bombed a six-story inhabited house in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in western Gaza, leaving heavy casualties.

In the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city, the occupation warplanes bombed several houses, killing at least 30 Palestinians and wounding many others. The Zionist bombing also targeted about five houses in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of the city, causing deaths and injuries among citizens.

Moreover, the occupation warplanes also bombed two houses in the eastern Shujaiya neighborhood, killing and wounding people, some of whom are still under the rubble, according to the official agency.

It also reported that the Jabalia camp had also been hit by Israeli shelling, which led to the death of 45 people.

Wafa pointed out that Israeli warplanes destroyed a residential block in Bir al-Na’ja and caused dozens of deaths and injuries.

In the central Gaza Strip, the occupation warplanes bombed houses in al-Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps and Deir al-Balah city.

In Khan Younis and Rafah, some 57 Palestinians, most of them displaced, were killed after warplanes destroyed homes over the heads of their residents. They were transferred to Abu Yousef al-Najjar and Nasser hospitals in the southern Gaza Strip, the agency reported.
