8 Ukrainian drones shot down over Crimea

WORLD, Oct. 17 (YPA) – The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, said that Russian defenses shot down eight Ukrainian drones over Crimea.

“During the night, the air defense systems spotted 8 drones as they approached the peninsula and were shot down by all Russian defenses,” Aksyonov said in a post on his Telegram Channel.

The Russian air defense forces shot down three drones over the Belgorod province on Monday.
