Iran warns Israeli occupation of launching ground attack on Gaza

DOHA, Oct. 15 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, warned the Israeli occupation of launching a ground attack on the Gaza Strip.

Abdollahian said, in a news statements from Doha, which were conveyed by the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Sunday: “If the Zionist regime’s attacks on the defenseless population in Gaza continue, no one can guarantee control of the situation and the possibility of the conflict expanding.”

He continued: “If stopping the aggression against Gaza does not succeed, the expansion of the war fronts is not excluded.”

“We hope that political efforts will prevent the war from expanding, noting that Iran cannot remain a spectator in this situation,” Abdollahian added.
