Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey witness demonstrations in support of Gaza

SANAA, Oct. 15 (YPA) – Solidarity demonstrations and vigils continue in Arab and Islamic countries in support of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, and to denounce the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Strip for the ninth day in a row.

In Morocco, tens of thousands of Moroccans demonstrated, on Sunday, October 15, in the capital, Rabat, in support of Palestine and the Gaza Strip, which is being subjected to intense Israeli bombing that has left thousands of civilians dead and wounded.

The rally organized under the slogan “The Moroccan people are with the Al-Aqsa flood and against normalization was called by the Moroccan Front to Support Palestine and Against Normalization, and the National Action Group for Palestine (non-governmental organizations).

The participants raised Palestinian and Moroccan flags and pictures of Al-Aqsa Mosque, chanting slogans in support of Gaza and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.

In Tunisia, a massive rally was launched from the center of the capital at the call of the opposition National Salvation Front, in support of the Palestinian resistance.

The participants demanded an end to the killing of children in Gaza, and they also chanted slogans: “Oh Qassam, oh Habib, strike, strike Tel Aviv.”

The people of Daraa in Syria also organized a solidarity vigil in October 16 Square in the center of the city in support of the Palestinian resistance and against the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

In Turkey’s state of Diyarbakir, the Turkish Hoda Bar Party organized a massive festival in support of the Palestinian resistance and to denounce the intense bombing by Israeli aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip.

For the ninth day, the Zionist occupation army continued to target the Gaza Strip with intense air strikes that destroyed entire neighborhoods and left thousands dead and wounded among Palestinian civilians, amid an Israeli attempt to empty the northern region of Gaza of its residents.
