Angry protests continue in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 10 (YPA) – Angry protests have continued in Aden city, south of Yemen, rejecting a decision to ban motorcycles.

Local sources reported that dozens of protesters blocked a number of streets in the cities of Mansoura and Sheikh Othman, declaring their rejection of this decision, while setting damaged tires on fire.

Last week, the Aden Security Administration issued a decision prohibiting the movement of motorcycles in the province. The decision gave motorcycle owners until the 14th of October to implement the decision, vowing to confiscate motorcycles and punish violators.
