Protesters block main roads in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 09 (YPA) – Angry protesters on Sunday blocked major roads in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, in protest against the continued power outages

According to local sources in ِthe al-Mansoura district, the protesters burned tires in the area due to the continued power outages in the neighborhoods.

The power outage hours in the city of Aden reached eight hours, the sources said.

The same sources accused the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition of neglecting to address the conditions of citizens in the city.

The people of the southern and eastern provinces, controlled by the coalition and its allied factions, live in continuous and unprecedented suffering as a result of the deterioration of basic services, especially the interruption of electricity service in the summer.
