Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada in Iraq warns Washington against any direct intervention in Gaza

BAGHDAD, Oct. 09 (YPA) – Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada in Iraq warned on Sunday that “if the United States intervenes directly in the events in Gaza, all the American presence in the region will turn into legitimate targets for the axis of resistance.”

In a statement, Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada affirmed that if Washington intervenes directly in the events in Gaza, then the strike will be met with strikes and there will be no red lines.”

Earlier in the day, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that Washington’s focus now is on “helping the Zionist entity make sure it has what it needs.”

It is noteworthy that the Iraqi warnings were preceded by warnings from the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah, as the head of Hezbollah’s executive council, Hashem Safi al-Din, warned the Americans and Zionists that “the Al-Aqsa flood would turn into a flood of the whole nation if they persist in their follies.”

“Hezbollah is not in a neutral position,” he said, adding  that “it is the responsibility of all the people of the nation not to stand neutral.”
