Palestinian Resistance: there is no talk of a truce in light of the enemy’s escalation of its war against the Palestinian people

WORLD, Oct. 09 (YPA) – The Palestinian resistance movement “Hamas” said that there is no possibility of talking about a truce or calm as long as the Israeli occupation escalates its war on the Palestinian people.”

Hamas representative Hazem Qassem told “Novosti RIA” that the movement rejects the ceasefire with the Israeli occupation as long as the latter continues to escalate and target civilians.

“The Israeli occupation is at the height of its escalation of the war, its aggression against civilians, and in these circumstances, we cannot talk about a truce,” he added.

He also affirmed that it is too early to talk about any mediation, because “the battlefield determines who controls the situation.”

Qassem indicated that talk about captured Israeli occupation soldiers would begin after the end of Al-Aqsa Flood Operation.

He explained that this issue falls under the competence of the al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing.
