SANAA, Oct. 05 (YPA) – The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance in the Sanaa government, Rashid Abu Lahoum,  on Wednesday ordered halt of the collection of local fees for urban transport and taxi buses operating in Sanaa.

This is based on the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council, according to Abu Lahoum.
Abu Lahoum’s circular to the capital’s mayor and the General Authority for Land Transport Affairs halted the collection of any local fees for using the specified parking in all “public, long” parking lots or under bridges.

The circular emphasized the strict enforcement of directives, the arrest of individuals who take any sums of money from bus drivers or small transportation vehicles under any name, and taking legal action against them.
