Pro-coalition injured recruit commits suicide in Marib

MARIB, Oct, 01 28 (YPA) – One of the wounded recruits from the forces loyal to the Saudi-led coalition has committed suicide in the city of Marib, northeastern Yemen due to the suspension of his salary and the obstruction of his travel for treatment abroad.

Human rights sources in the city reported that one of the wounded who fought in the ranks of the Islah Party factions, named Mohammad Ali Shaiban, attempted suicide on Friday, due to the coalition abandoning them, making false promises, and procrastinating in paying their dues.

The sources attributed the suicide attempt as an expression of dissatisfaction with the coalition that abandoned and left them without benefits to help them live, indicating that Shaiban was one of the coalition’s wounded on the Marib front.

Last week, the wounded recruit “Rayyan Ma’odah” committed suicide in Marib due to the deterioration of his psychological, health, and living conditions, the Saudi “Al-Hadath” TV channel reported.
