American troops ambushed in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Sept. 12 (YPA) – American forces were subjected to an armed ambush on Tuesday in Hadramout province, in eastern Yemen.

Activists on social media circulated video clips showing clashes between American troops and unknown gunmen.

According to the activists, clashes erupted in Hadramout Valley, with tribal gunmen taking part.

The American forces have boosted their presence in Hadramout’s oil plateau by military landing in the Al-Ghurfa region near the Marib provincial border.
