Yemeni riyal falls to new low against foreign currencies in southern provinces

SANAA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate hit on Tuesday a new low against foreign currencies in Yemen’s southern and eastern provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.

The US dollar exchange rate in Aden and Hadramout provinces reached 1,476 Yemeni riyals, while the Saudi riyal exchange rate reached 389 riyals.

Meanwhile, the riyal exchange has stabilized in areas controlled by the Sanaa government at 529.50 riyals to the US dollar and 140.50 riyals to the Saudi riyal.
