Russia proposes complete abolition of tourist visas for four Arab countries

WORLD, Sep. 11 (YPA) – Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said that his country has proposed a complete abolition of tourist visas to five countries – Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.

This came during his speech in the WEF session “Inbound tourism: challenges and opportunities in the new reality”.

He said: “We are developing the topic of “visa-free travel” with the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

“We proposed the complete abolition of visas for Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. Where it is also possible to increase the number of premium class tourists. That’s why we care about this,” he added.
