Saudi forces continue to commit crimes against African migrants on border areas with Yemen

SAADA, Sept.02 (YPA) – Saudi forces continued to kill African migrants on the border with Yemen despite mounting international condemnation following the Human Rights Watch report.

“An Ethiopian citizen was killed Friday by a gunshot by the Saudi border guards off the borer district of Monabbih in Saada Governorate. He was taken to the Munabbih Hospital and then transferred to the Republican Hospital in Saada,” The spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Sanaa government, Dr. Anis Al-Asbahi said.

Another Ethiopian was also injured today off the Al-Raqaw area of the same district.

During the past week, 5 African migrants were killed and wounded in different areas of the Yemeni-Saudi border, by Saudi soldiers’ fire.

According to the Guardian Newspaper,  Saudi forces that commit abuses against migrants are being trained by US and German forces.
