SANAA, Aug. 30 (YPA) – The Minister of Industry and Trade in the government of Sanaa, Muhammad al-Mutahar, said on Tuesday that there is a package of concessions and exemptions granted to drug producers with the aim of increasing production and investment in this field.
Al-Mutahar added, during his inspection of the pharmaceutical production lines in the capital, Sanaa, that “granting the local pharmaceutical product in the Yemeni market privileges and facilities has become an urgent priority.”
For his part, the Head of the Federation of Pharmaceutical Producers, Dr. Ihsan Al-Rabahi, confirmed that the Supreme Political Council is pushing towards the localization of the pharmaceutical industry in a serious and thoughtful manner.
