Netanyahu’s office welcomes Lebanese government’s decision on Hezbollah’s weapons

OCCUPIED QUDS, Aug. 25 (YPA) – The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Monday that “Israel values the important step taken by the Lebanese Council of Ministers in announcing its work to disarm Hezbollah by the end of 2025.”

The statement described the decision as “of great importance,” considering it “an opportunity for Lebanon to restore its sovereignty and rebuild its state institutions.”

Netanyahu’s office added that “Israel is prepared to support Lebanon in its efforts to disarm Hezbollah and to work together toward a more secure and stable future for both countries.”
