A ballistic missile of Qahir-M2 type fired by the Yemeni army hit gatherings of troops loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, leaving dozens of dead and wounded , including colonel Zaid a-Taffi , commander of the emergency forces, who was seriously injured, the official said.
Ambulances and a number of vehicles rushed to the scene to evacuate the victims, the official added.
