Colonel Fahmi Al-Hakimi of the criminal investigation was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Mansoura district.
The gunmen fled.
Activists of the separatist southern transitional council accused “Saudi-backed chef of cabinet Ben Daghar” and “Islamic Islah party” of killing Al-Hakimi.
Aden has witnessed chaos since UAE occupying forces invaded the city three years ago.
