STC reveals more details about assassination of Al-Sayed

ADEN, Aug 11 (YPA) – A senior journalist loyal to the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council factions revealed on Thursday new details about the killing of the STC’s commander in Abyan, southern Yemen.

Adel Al-Maduri, editor-in-chief of Al-Jarida Post website, said on Twitter, Abdul Latif Al-Sayed, the commander of the Security Belt factions of the STC, was not killed by an explosive device, as was promoted in the media outlets.

He said that the military sources in Abyan confirmed Al-Sayed’s armored car was directly targeted with a thermal missile or a drone during the attack on the Jenin camp in Wadi Omran area of Mudiyah district area of Abyan.

Earlier in the day, the commander Abdul Latif Al-Sayed was killed, accompanied by a number of faction leaders of the STC, in the district.
