SANAA, Aug 11 (YPA) – Yemen’s Gas Company announced organizing a competition to supply quantities of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) according to the mechanism of regulating import through the private sector.
In a statement, the company called on local merchants and importers of gas and oil derivatives wishing to supply the liquefied petroleum gas to submit their offers for inclusion in the company’s supply plan for the current year 2023.
The statement stressed the importance of the applicant companies being qualified, and having previous experience in importing gas and oil derivatives, noting that the need for the offer to include the quantity of gas that will be supplied, and for the price offer to be inclusive of all costs up to Ras Issa port in Hodeida.
It also stressed the need to commit to supplying shipments through ships that get commensurate with the specifications and capabilities of the receiving and unloading berths at the delivery port.
