Israeli soldier dies after setting himself on fire

OCCUPIED QUDS, Aug. 03 (YPA) – An Israeli soldier died of burns he sustained as a result of setting himself on fire, Hebrew media said on Thursday.

According to Yedioth Ahronoth, the death of the soldier, Bar Kalef, who set himself on fire a few days ago in Netanya, was announced after the Ministry of War refused his request to recognize him as “army disabled” due to his suffering from “post-traumatic stress disorder” after he experienced difficult events in the 2014 war in Gaza.
