Scattered rains expected to prevail over Yemen’s different areas

SANAA, Aug 03 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected rains of varying intensity in parts of different provinces of Yemen.

According to a weather forecast, the scattered showers may prevail over Saada, Amran, Mahweet, Hajjah, Sanaa, Rayma, Dhamar, Ibb, Dhalea, Taiz, Lahj, Bayda, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra, as well as Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb and Dhalea.

The center pointed out the weather over the desert areas and internal plateaus may be hot to very hot during the day, with maximum temperatures ranging between 37-43 °C, in addition to 32-38 °C targeting the coastal regions and plains.

It affirmed that the winds would be very strong around the Socotra archipelago, with a speed ranging between 28-48 knots, and active in the southern and eastern coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with a speed reaching between 16-32 knots.

The center called on citizens to take away from valleys and and torrential passages in areas where rain expected.
