Aden’s oil company increases fuel prices in coalition-controlled areas

ADEN, July 27 (YPA) – The oil company in Aden province, southern Yemen, has decided to boost fuel prices in Aden and the Yemeni provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition, southern media sources said on Thursday.

According to the sources, the company raised the price of a liter of petroleum to 1,065 riyals, bringing the price of a 20-liter bottle of benzene to 21,300 riyals, in a new price dose that doubles citizens’ suffering in light of the deterioration of services and living conditions, as well as the economic collapse.

Observers considered any increase in fuel prices an indication of the final stage of economic collapse in the areas controlled by the coalition in southern and eastern Yemen.
