Child, with several livestock, killed in Hajjah thunderbolt

HAJJAH, July. 21 (YPA) – A child, with a number of livestock, were killed on Thursday as a result of a thunderbolt that targeted a house in Hajjah province.

An official source of Civil Defense Authority’s team in the province stated that thunderbolts, accompanied by strong winds, targeted the 12-year-old child, Shumukh Himyar Yahya Al-Asri, in Bani Al-Awam district.

The team renewed its call to citizens to abide by the instructions related to sheltering from thunderbolts, turning off electrical appliances and mobile phones in order to preserve their lives.
