Tribal sheikh killed in Mocha city

SANAA, July. 05 (YPA) – A tribal sheikh in the coastal city of Mocha was assassinated on Wednesday into the areas controlled by UAE-backed Tariq Saleh’s forces, west of Taiz province.

Local sources confirmed that unknown gunmen opened fire at Ali al-Haisi, the sheikh of al-Mashqar village in Mocha area.

Activists accused Tariq Saleh’s forces of being behind the assassination. The crime sparked great condemnations and indignation among the residents of the area.

Mocha city and the coastal districts of Taiz, which are under the control of the coalition forces, have witnessed security chaos, assassinations, kidnappings and rapes against citizens.
