Pro-UAE commander killed in Shabwa        

SHABWA, June 24 (YPA) – An officer in the UAE-backed factions, with the rank of colonel, from the 21st Brigade in Shabwa province, was killed in a shootout with gunmen on Saturday.

Media sources reported that Colonel Hassan Shumaila, an officer of the 21st Brigade stationed in the “Arin” area, was killed in clashes with gunmen near the Arin camp.

The sources did not provide additional details about the incident.
