Scattered rains expected to prevail over various areas of Yemen

SANAA, June 24 (YPA) – Rain will be expected to fall over par of various areas of Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The National Center of Meteorology said in its weather bulletin on Saturday, the scattered rains would prevail over that areas of the provinces of Dhalea, Bayda, Sanaa, Amran, Saada, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout, as well as Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Rayma, Dhamar, Mahweet, Hajjah and Saada.

The center pointed out that the weather will warm in desert and coastal areas, and the Socotra archipelago, with the maximum temperatures ranging between 34-43 degrees Celsius and active winds blowing around the Socotra archipelago and parts of the southern and eastern coasts, and its speed ranging between 25-50 knots.

It warned of hot and sweltering weather in the desert and coastal areas, and the Socotra archipelago.
