Southern Revolutionary Movement calls for mass protests against STC in Aden

ADEN, June 22 (YPA) – A massive popular uprising against the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) may to take place in the city of Aden and the southern governorates on Thursday afternoon, Southern media reported

According to the media source, the Southern Revolutionary Movement and the Aden Revolutionary Youth Movement called for the uprising against the STC.

the Council of the Southern revolutionary movement demanded to put the corrupt officials in trial.

It also called on the people of Aden to go out on Thursday afternoon in a popular uprising against the STC and their corrupt officials.

In a statement today, the revolutionary movement held the STC, as the de facto authority in Aden, responsible for the tampering that is taking place in the southern governorates.
