President Al-Mashat congratulates Lebanese people on Resistance, Liberation Day

SANAA, May 25 (YPA) – The President, Mahdi al-Mashat, chairman of the Supreme Political Council, sent a cable of congratulations to the brotherly Lebanese people, army and resistance on the occasion of the resistance and Liberation Day.

He expressed his warm congratulations to the brotherly Lebanese people, their valiant army and their brave resistance on the occasion of the 23rd resistance and Liberation Day.

He said “Yemen looks with pride on the makers of the Lebanese day of resistance and liberation with its leaders and the sons of its people, the free resisters, who sowed martyrdom in the paths of struggle, resulting in liberation and victory”.

“We reiterate our stand with Lebanon and its right to regain the rest of its occupied territory, hoping that the political forces in this dear country will be able to arrive as soon as possible to elect a president of the Republic and restore the regularity of official institutions in order to maintain security, stability and civil peace”, he added.
