Imam of Al-Farouk mosque assassinated in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, May 21 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen on Sunday afternoon assassinated Imam of Al-Farouk mosque in the city of Sayoun, the center of the directorates of Hadramout province.

According to local sources, the gunmen shot and killed the imam, Sheikh Saleh Mohammed al-Pasha, then they ran away.

Activists from the sons of Hadramout on social media accused UAE’s “Southern Transitional Council” of being behind the assassination.
