Two workers injured in armed attack on bus of factory staff in Abyan

ABYAN, July 30 (YPA) – At least two employees of the “Al-Wahda Cement Factory” in Abyan province, southern Yemen, were injured in an armed attack on a bus of the factory staff.

Local sources reported that the attack occurred in Zinjbar city, the capital of Abyan province, controlled by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions, and resulted in one employee being shot in the shoulder and the other suffering moderate wounds.

The sources indicated that the bus was en route to transport employees to Aden city when the attack occurred, noting that the wounded were both transported to a hospital in the city for treatment.

This is the fourth attack targeting buses transporting factory employees in the past two months, highlighting the increasing number of attacks on these buses.
