MARIB, May 21 (YPA) – The drones entered the line of armed confrontations between the tribes in the Wadi Abidah area of the city of Marib, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, members of the UAE-backed “Al Moneef” tribe used drones to target their opponents from the Saudi-backed “Al Fujeeh” tribe and the Islah Party.

The sources described the confrontations, which resumed in the early hours of Sunday, as “violent”, noting that the battles extended towards the Bin Maili station and approached the government complex in the city center of Marib.

The Saudi-led coalition countries provided the two sides of the conflict with various weapons, especially armored vehicles and tanks, in addition to the entry of drones on the front line, according to the sources.
