Syria’s President arrives in Jeddah

RIYADH, May 18 (YPA) – Syria’s President, Bashar al-Assad, arrived on Thursday in Jeddah city to attend the 32nd Arab Summit, after Syria’s return to the Arab League.

Saudi official media outlets published pictures and a video documenting the arrival of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to Jeddah.

Mr. al-Assad was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, and deputy governor of Mecca Region, as well as Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and other official.

Al-Assad arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after an invitation he received by King Salman bin Abdulaziz to attend the Arab Summit to be held in Jeddah.
