Tribal confrontation sparked in Marib

MARIB, May 18 (YPA) – About 20 gunmen killed or wounded on Thursday after tribal clashes in Al-Wadi district of Marib province.

Local sources said that the clashes between the tribes of Fajeh and Rashid Munif erupted because of a dispute over the ownership of “Mabshar” area in the province’s desert.

The sources stated that Fajeh tribal used a tank during the clashes, confirming that the confrontations continuing between the two parties in the absence of the coalition-backed factions, which have not intervened to stop the confrontations.
