President Al-Mashat orders addressing issue of Yemeni students returning from Sudan

SANAA, May 16 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Tuesday directed Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor to hold a meeting to discuss the problem of Yemeni students returning from Sudan due to deteriorating conditions there.
President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of taking the necessary measures and distributing these students to Yemeni universities according to the available capabilities.
He lamented the Saudi-led coalition countries’ and their mercenaries’ abandonment of Yemeni students in Sudan, expressing regret at the dangers and obstacles they faced.
President Al-Mashat confirmed that Sanaa would remain the protector and defender of Yemenis, and pointed to the need to open Sanaa International Airport to all destinations.
