Rainy weather to be expected within coming hours in Yemen

SANAA, May 16 (YPA) – Rain of varying intensity will be expected to fall in parts of the provines of Yemen diring the coming 24 hours, the National Center of Meteorology said on Tuesday.

In its expected bulletin, the center affirmed that scattered rain may fall on parts of Shabwa, Abyan, Bayda and Lahj, Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz and Dhalea, in addition to the Socotra archipelago, Tihama plain, and the western coast.

It mentioned that the climate of the coastal areas will be partly cloudy, warm and humid, with maximum temperatures ranging between “34-38” degrees Celsius, and 35-41 degrees Celsius will be on the desert areas, with moderate to active winds.

The center called the motorists to drive carefully mountainous roads due to rockslides and of a decrease in the horizontal visibility as a result of rains and fog.
