ADEN, May 10 (YPA) – A southern political activist revealed an unprecedented scandal for the head of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC, in which he included a name of his friend who died two years ago in the decision he issued on his list of advisers.
Southern activist Ali al-Nassi reported that the head of the STC, Aidarous al-Zoubaidi, issued a decision to form the Council of Advisers for 392 members who announced joining the consultative meeting he held in Aden.
Al-Nassi said in a tweet on “Twitter”, “When I checked the names, I came across the name of my late friend Engineer Salem Saleh Moqbel, who died two years ago, No. 104,” in the members’ statements.
The appointment of the dead as advisers in the STC “is an indication that the dialogue was based on old records dating back more than two years”, al-Nasi said.
