WORLD, May 07 (YPA) – Foreign ministers of Arab countries will meet on Sunday in Cairo to discuss resumption of the participation of Syrian delegations in Arab League meetings, while Amman revealed positive signals in this regard.
Jordan’s permanent representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Amjad Adaileh, said there were “positive signs of an expected consensus on a draft resolution for Syria’s return to the Arab League.”
He expected that “the Arab foreign ministers will agree in their meeting today on a resolution that includes the resumption of the participation of Syrian government delegations in the meetings of the Council of the League.”
Adaileh noted that he “sensed an Arab consensus on the importance of launching a leading Arab role to resolve this crisis.”
