STC militias take over Faisal Rajab’s house in Aden

ADEN, April 30 (YPA) – The UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias took over Major General Faisal Rajab’s house in Aden city, south of Yemen.

Adel al-Hassani, a former leader in the “Southern Resistance”, called on the leaders of the STC’s militia to leave the house of Maj. Gen. Rajab, after he was released from Sanaa and handed over to Abyan’s tribal delegation.

In June 2021, the STC militias broke into the house of leader Faisal Rajab, located in Remi area, with more than 7 military vehicles, and broke down its doors, according to a post by his son Salem on his Facebook.

The militia’s storming of Rajab’s house in central Aden came after its control, in February of the year 2021, of vast agricultural lands owned by the Faisal Rajab family in Khanfar district of Abyan.

Abdul Qadir al-Mortada, a head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs in Sanaa,, revealed that the prisoner, Faisal Rajab, had survived an attempt to target by coalition warplanes with a number of raids on the house of Rajab, in the Libyan residential neighborhood in mid-January 2022, in the capital Sanaa.
